Meet Our Founder
Fabrizia Barbosa
Founder & Director of Kind Care Private Education
With over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, Fabrizia created Kind Care to be more than a school—it’s a nurturing space where children feel at home, families feel supported, and learning happens through love, play, and purpose.
A dedicated mother, faith-driven leader, and passionate advocate for childhood joy, Fabrizia brings heart, vision, and deep expertise to every part of the Kind Care experience. Her background in child development and her lifelong commitment to honoring childhood have shaped Kind Care into the award-winning program it is today.
Whether she’s consulting with parents or guiding her team, Fabrizia’s mission remains the same: to help little ones grow with confidence, curiosity, and kindness.
Our School
KindCare began in early 2011, born from a long-time dream to create a place where children could feel at home, surrounded by love, nourishment, and joy. What started as a vision for a safe, nurturing space for my own future children has grown into a community that now welcomes families from across Marin County. As a mother of two, I’ve watched my own children grow within KindCare’s walls, learning and thriving alongside their peers.
From the beginning, our focus has been simple: provide children with a warm, home-like environment, wholesome meals, and—most importantly—wonderful caregivers who are valued as part of our family. We believe that when teachers are supported with competitive wages, benefits, and respect, they can pour their hearts into caring for children.
Rooted in strong family and faith values, KindCare is more than a school—it’s a community built on love, integrity, and the belief that every child deserves to grow in a place that feels like home.
